Support a Kid in Your Hometown!
Give that helping hand to a child who is living the life you came from! While it’s important to support organizations, helping one specific individual can make a lasting impression.
Here’s one idea:
Start a scholarship at your local high school. Your school’s scholarship committee can choose the child based on your qualifications. You donate give whatever amount you’re comfortable giving.

I have personally come to know Rick and Sue Clark who spearhead this non-profit to rescue women and children from sexual slavery, primarily in Thailand. Human trafficking enslaves nearly 27 million people around the globe. For $25 a month you can support a child, this covers textbooks, uniforms, meals and tuition.
