Sarah Zapp is an award-winning TV host and reporter who is always looking for a good story! She’s interviewed larger than life personalities, influential leaders and major headliners and even ventured a bit into modeling, commercial and acting work.
She’s covered entertainment in Los Angeles and New York reporting from red carpet events, reviewing the latest movies and conducting one-on-one interviews with some of today’s biggest stars like ; Angelina Jolie, Will Smith, and Meryl Streep. As a host, reporter and executive producer for The Comcast Network out of Boston, she reached nearly 11 million viewers and earned eight Emmy nominations. She sparkled as Comcast’s live reporter for a special 4 hour long New Year’s Eve TV special at Universal Orlando Resort, she’s grilled key political leaders live from the floor of the Democratic National Convention and filed reports from the E! studios in Los Angeles. She also executive produced and hosted her own weekly talk show, “New England Newsmakers,” tackling some of the biggest public policy issues and decision makers in the region.
Prior to Comcast, she worked the streets of Boston as a general assignment reporter for WB56. She also anchored a morning and noon newscast at the NBC station in Little Rock, Arkansas where Little Rock Monthly magazine crowned her a real “ingenue” and one of the market’s “best TV talents”.
Ms. Zapp was homecoming queen at the University of Missouri where she graduated with the highest possible honors from the University of Missouri’s renowned School of Journalism. She also graduated Phi Beta Kappa with a B.A. in political science, a minor in Spanish and then went on to Boston University for her Master’s Degree in Mass Communications.
